From Games to Movies - Hitman

You guys have seen "Hitman"? or maybe played the game "Hitman"?

You will definitely like the game, or at least love the movie. There are 4 games in the series released from 2000 until 2006, also 1 game is in produce ??? (I maynot remember right) You can earn some special weapons or cash bonuses (in the game) by eliminating the assigned target. I used to watch my bf playing this before. Until I watched the movie, it was just my style of film @_@. The typical action movie will keep you with its single minute ^^. And I love Name Code 47, so much @_@. This is the first time I think he really fits with his charater. Besides, I dont like the support female character who is beside 47, even she is beautiful (who starred in the 007 - Quantum of Solace)

I really enjoyed the first game in the series. The concept of playing as a hired assassin was great. What really made it a success in my eyes, was the element of freedom of choice. You could go through the hotel security with only a pianowire, take out some guards, attain their guns, and end up shooting your way out after eliminating the target. Or you could sneak into the kitchen and poison their food, silently watching the commotion to follow, and walk straight out without anyone chasing. Every mission could be played over again with many different approaches.

The movie however is to me nothing more than a way of sucking out more money after remaking the same game four times. The concept is used up, and no new elements brought into light.

The first game is a classic, the rest is "extra material" - including the movie.

Oh really. I should have played it before watching the movie. I did enjoy the film very much though. You are right, sometimes the 'extra materials' including the movie dont have such good quality as the first original game and bring disapointing.

^^ without you guys' experience of playing this game, I cant say I know the game. Anyway, I think it is worth to see the film, especially for the ones who havent played the game yet. I totally thought the movie was cool and really wanted to dig out my stock (I have an extra room in my flat where I put my and my bf's old stuffs including old games) and wanted to play the game once.
